Seminar on the Common Agricultural Policy 2014-2020 organised by CEEweb member

CEEweb member Lithuanian Fund for Nature and WWF organised a seminar on the “Common Agricultural Policy for 2014-2020: challenges and perspectives in implementing environmental commitments“. The seminar took place in Vilnius on the 11 and 12th of November. CEEweb for Biodiversity was represented by Ágnes Zólyomi from CEEweb Hungary (Rural Development Programmes and Agri-environmental schemes in Central and Eastern European countries) and Nathaniel Page from Adept, Romania (Evaluation of  new Rural development programmes in respect to environmental performance). Participants from all Baltic Sea Region and also other European countries are came together to share and discuss experiences and best environmental practices within the agriculture sector in the Baltic Sea region with the aim to reduce nutrient runoff and other negative impacts from agriculture.
