The poster was compiled for the High Level Conference
on Business and Biodiversity, 2007, Lisbon, Portugal
in order to inform people about well-working projects
throughout Central- and Eastern-Europe. It explains
how small and medium size enterprises (SMEs) can benefit
from biological diversity and conserve it at the same
time.

The leaflet introduces a project on biodiversity protection
in military owned areas of Central, East and South-East
European countries. The project is jointly managed by
the Naturstiftung David (GER) and CEEweb. Read

The brochure explains the concept of sustainable tourism
in unconventional way - by providing a map of an imaginary
village and interviews taken in that "community".
On the other side of the map, however, real-life examples
are presented that were implemented with the participation
of the members of CEEweb
Sustainable Tourism Working Group. In addition,
the brochure provides information about the Working
Group itself.
Between 3-4 November 2004 about 75 participants from
various countries met at a conference called TIME IS
LIFE - Conference on halting biodiversity loss by 2010
in Budapest. The aim of the conference was to promote
understanding of the relevant global, Pan-European,
EU, regional and national processes, initiatives and
efforts toward the target to halt biodiversity loss
by 2010 and to explore possibilities for NGO involvement
and cooperation. The CD ROM is about the outcomes of
this conference.
