The project continues in a cooperation with partner and lead partner from the previous program period. The aim of the project is strenghtening of the exploitation of cultural and natural heritage. The target groups in the project are citizens and visitors of Polish-Slovak cross-border region. Within the realization of the project, restoration and reconstruction of two cultural monuments will be reached in the cross-border area. – the townhall in Strumien, which is the oldest guildhall in the whole Sliezsko, and the building in the castle Budatín, which is closed at the moment because of bad technical conditions. In the reconstructed spaces in Strumien townhall, a new multimedial room will come into existance, in which is going to be organized a seminar focused on presentation of cultural tourism, and in the reconstructed spaces of Budatín castle will arise an exposition of a tinker handicraft. The mobile application avaliable in 3 languages [Slovak, Polish and English] will include information about cultural monuments and events of cross-border region [Žilina region and Strumień]. This is going to increase the awaraness and also increase the intensiveness of exploitation of cultural and natural heritage of cross-border area. The application will be avaliable to download on websites of both partners. Activities of the project such as meeting of tinker masters in Budatín and International day of traditions in Strumien will contribute to getting to know a traditional folkways. Realization of the project will be a contribution for local communities, that will strenghten their cultural and sociable identity and also they will have more opportunities, how to spend their free time.
