Objectives and results of the project:

The project aims at increase of tourist potential utilisation in the Carpathian region and improvement of conditions for entrepreneurial development through creation of a new Polish-Ukrainian tourist product – geotourist route.

The route comprises of 28 geotourist objects chosen within the Polish-Ukrainian borderland (12 in Poland and 16 in Ukraine) constituting 700 kilometres of tourist paths. The project equally envisions creation of tourist information and training facilities, promotional publications concerning the route, training for travel guides, elaboration of geo-parks (PL, UA) and oil and gas industry open air museum (UA) , common database of geotourist objects in the borderland, etc.
