Objectives and results of the project:

Objective of the project is to reduce existing barriers and promote cross-border cooperation in the eastern part of Slovakia to Ukraine and create new and support existing partnerships and networks.
Project area

The project is focused on cross-border area UNESCO – Primeval Beech Forests of the Carpathians and the Ancient Beech Forests of Germany and the related area of world natural heritage in Slovak and the Ukrainian side.
It focuses on locations in eastern Slovakia, where most activities will be implemented in the Prešov Region and Košice Region in areas Poloniny National Park and the Vihorlat Protected Landscape Area and Ukrainian side in the area of Uzhanskyi National Nature Park.
