Objectives and results of the project:

The overall objective is sustainable development of the Transylvanian Highlands destination. The project will have a common approach, proposing integrated solutions for sustainable rural development in the region, with focus on two directions, closely linked and interdependent:
1. Development of ecotourism in the region, both by specific activities of tourism (expanding the network of trails for active tourism and services available along these routes, protection, preservation and touristic promotion of the entire network of trails), but mostly by educating the young generations to treasure the local heritage (natural, cultural, historical, human) and involving them in activities that aim at valorizing this heritage
2. Development of the organizational capacity of the applicant to aquire new instruments for their contribution to regional rural development, after the completion of the project, by aquiring new equipment that will be given in custody to members of the local communities, thus developping the area.
