Objectives and results of the project:

The project is aimed at the sustainable development, the improvement of human resources and fostering cultural and innovation cooperation in order to promote cross-border relationships.

The cooperating partners have outlined the overall aims and concrete goals to be reached as follows:
compile and develop touristic offers within Slovakian and Hungarian cooperation, aiming at promotion of the cross-border wine-tourism
utilization of the peripheral districts within the Tokaj-Hegyalja wine-region for wine-tourism
job-creation in the tourism industry, increasing employment and decreasing unemployment rates within the region

Concrete goals:
creating wine-touristic attractions in the settlements involved, also, establishment of a joint Hungarian-Slovakian touristic target
increasing the number of nights spent in the settlements’ accommodations
attracting/directing 50 % of the arrivals to the other side of the border as well
