Duration of the project: 03/2017 - 10/2018
Objectives and results of the project:

The common problem of the partners is that the tourists rest on the frontiers, they avoid the villages and choose more known tourists centers, and therefore they can’t appreciate natural and cultural values of Jeleśne and Klin – attractions of the mountain regions that require protection and that aren’t connected enough with the recreation infrastructure, it’s not well acccessible for the tourists. Regarding the mutual solution of the problem, increase of the touristic value of the area and gain higher appreciation of the values of both villages from the side of both inhabitants and tourists, Jeleśne and Klin have now decided to create a common project. The aim of the project is to develope tourism on the frontiers, with the use of natural and cultural region of these municipalities with a decent attitude to the environment and other values of the borders. Within the project new sections of the biking trail in Przyborowie and Krzyowky, as in Sopotna Mała and a new section of both touristic and biking trail in Klin. There will be a new infrastructure built on these sections – outlook points and resting areas. The whole region of the trails (including the ones that don’t exist anymore), will be signed as a part of a transboundary touristic path from Jeleśne through Pilsk to Klin. Eventually an e-tool MOBITOUR will be created to help tourists orientate on the paths and will show them cultural/natural attractions they can find there. To get people informed about this new offer, there will be a promotional program organized: 2 touristic-biking quests, 2 thematical events, print of leaflets, maps, decrease of number of commercial bilboards in both villages, an informative meeting for inhabitants and for people who care about transbooundary tourism, and a course of the neighbouring-region’s language to help people of both villages to service transboundary tourists
