EUKI 2nd National Workshop

Agriculture and climate change

Potential for reducing greenhouse gas emissions from agriculture

National Workshop, Hungary

On 30 January 2020, CEEweb for Biodiversity organised the Second National Workshop for Hungarian stakeholders as part of the EUKI project ‘An unavoidable step after Paris: Cutting emissions from farming.’ In line with the project aim, the workshop served to create an increased public and political awareness around the need for an ambitious legislative framework on climate and agriculture.

Moreover, the workshop proved beneficial in serving other central goals of the project: after the formation and consolidation of a solid knowledge base, knowledge sharing and inclusive stakeholders’ dialogue are key to disseminate experiences, policy recommendations and gain valuable feedback from various stakeholder groups.
