Street Campaigns

In order to reach the wider public, CEEweb frequently participate in street campaigns, such as the Car-free day, the international biodiversity day or the Night of Citizens. At our stand, interested citizens could get information about why nature conservation and related lobbying activities are important and what CEEweb exactly advocates for through interactive and interesting way. They play memory card with Invasive Alien and Natura 2000 Species,  they can group environmental pressures with their drivers or just watch topic-specific short films and read professional or easy-to-understand booklets as well as banners about these issues.

Join our next public event on 22 May, the International Biodiversity Day!

The United Nations proclaimed May 22 The International Day for Biological Diversity in 1993. For nearly 20 years, biodiversity has been celebrated on this day, thus emphasising the importance of diversity on Earth. As a result of our mission, this is one of the most important „green prominent days” during which programmes are organised related to biological diversity for children and adults.
