Full text of the CBD (pdf)

Multi-year programme of work of the Conference of the Parties up to 2010

At COP 7, the Parties agreed on the issues to which COP will give in-depth consideration at its eight to tenth meetings. Besides these thematic and cross-cutting issues, COP will review progress in implementation of the Strategic Plan, towards the 2010 target and relevant Millennium Development Goals. Other mechanisms that support implementation (e.g. financial mechanism, clearing-house mechanism, technology transfer, capacity-building) will be also on the agenda at each of these meetings.
