In 2006 CEEweb started an international project to preserve outstanding natural values in military managed areas in the CEE/SEE countries.

Green Network to Supervise Slunj Military Training Grounds

The Green Network (Zelena Mreza) of Karlovac District started the project for monitoring of the "Eugen Kvaternik" military training grounds in Slunj. The project attempts to reduce the negative impact of the military manoeuvres on nature and environment in Slunj area, which has been exposed to the effects of the military training for years.
