House renovation “Green light for households”

Organisation: Združenie Slatinka Website: Added: June 03, 2022
Project start date: January 01, 2021
Project end date: December 31, 2024

Narrative

This is an incentive-based programme for building renovations. An “all in one” combination of EE and RES and other measures (e.g.green roofs) also targets vulnerable groups. This involves not just a change of heat source, but also a renewal with different technology options. Response has been very positive overall. While technologies such as gas boilers are on offer, the rules are such that people will have no reason to prefer them.

Financial data

'Green light for households' incentives programme - ESIF allocation from 2015: EUR 76 million to install 36,000 RES. Last call for projects: EUR 15 million: 5,000 households requested services, the vast majority for heat pumps. The next call will focus on solar and photovoltaic. New ESIF expected to amount to EUR 100 million for RES in households.

Recommendations

Easier financing to include deep renovation, while shifting focus to vulnerable groups.
