Narrative
PVGLASS+ multifunctional insulating glass is an innovative product developed in the Photovoltaic Research and Development Center of ML System. This solution combines three different functions: the ability to adjust the transparency of the glass, photovoltaic cells acting as an electricity generator, and a heating glass that not only prevents the deposition of water vapour or snow, but can also support traditional radiators installed in the room. According to the creators of PVGLASS+, it is the first solution of this type in the world. Thanks to the implementation of the EU project entitled "PVGLASS+ implementation of photonic, multifunctional insulating glass for production", ML System was able to introduce its product to the market, as the funds received were used to expand the company's machine park.

The value of the project: PLN 12,300,000.00 (about EUR 2,822,784.23), the EU co-financing: PLN 7,000,000.00 (about EUR 1,606,462.57).
Recommendations
In addition to the efficient production of electricity, PVGLASS+ allows you to heat the room and adjust the transparency of the glass. This solution and its more innovative variants can be used both as external window equipment and inside the building, and the possibility of making a product with unusual shapes and dimensions makes it possible to perfectly replace the currently used construction glass.
