Narrative

The implementation of the project proposal will contribute to the improvement of the ambient air quality in Varna Municipality by reducing the excess levels of fine particulates and nitrogen oxides to achieve the established norms in the ambient air by taking measures to replace the old public urban transport vehicles with modern, eco-friendly vehicles. The project includes delivery of 40 electric bus type "solo", 20 electric "articulated" buses and delivery and installation of 60 slow charging stations and 2 fast charging stations. The project covers the implementation of activities under Component 1: Implementation of activities for improving the quality of the ambient air through the purchase and delivery of electric vehicles for road transport - electric buses and trolleybuses from the procedure.
