Narative

This initiative delivers subsidies for reconstruction and innovation of urban lighting systems of municipalities to achieve electricity savings. The subsidy covers reconstruction of the public lighting system, including the addition of lighting points to meet the lighting standard requirements. Grants cannot be used to construct a new public lighting system. The amount of subsidy is CZK 30 per kWh of electricity saved per year. The maximum amount of subsidy per identification number and year is: (a) CZK 1.5 million to CZK 4 million for municipalities up to 10,000 inhabitants, or b) CZK 10 million for municipalities of more than 10,000 inhabitants.


Financial data

Total planned allocation of this investment is: EUR 70.2 mln (CZK 1.7 bln). Funding comes from the Recovery & Resilience Facility.
