Narative
The aim of the project is to halt the decline of biodiversity and strengthen the NATURA 2000 system in the project area through active protection of non-forest habitats and species of European and national importance and their favourable condition, implementation of appropriate management practices and promotion of traditional management. Sub-objectives of the project 1. Improve the status of non-forest habitats and target species. 2. To increase the abundance of target species and overall species diversity through appropriate management and restoration measures. 3. To build material, technical and institutional prerequisites for sustainable management of target species following traditional and alternative forms of management. 4. Increase public interest and awareness on the conservation of butterflies, rare non-forest communities and their sustainable use. 5. To improve cooperation between government and non-government organizations, land owners and users and other concerned parties in the conservation of non-forest communities in the project area.

Recommendations
Continue the development of similar projects focused at biodiversity and landscape preserve and restoration, through traditional management and local economiesprojects through the development of cooperation between state actors and the non-governmental sector and the development of cross-border cooperation.
