
Dr Gabriella Mária Nagy
Dr Gabriella Mária Nagy is a landscape architect and an environmental protection specialist with over 20 years of professional experience working in landscape design and nature-related research. She has worked on more than 200 projects in open-air design all over Hungary, as well as for 10 years as a researcher — mainly, at the University of Sopron, Faculty of Forestry, Institute of Forest Assets Management.
She holds a PhD in Forest and Wildlife Management Sciences (Forest Value Assessment Doctoral Programme, University of West Hungary, Hungary), an MSc in Landscape Architecture (Szent István University, Hungary), an Environmental Specialist MSc (University of Debrecen, Hungary), and an MSc on Forest Pedagogy (University of West Hungary, Hungary). She speaks Hungarian, English and Italian.
She joined CEEweb for Biodiversity in 2018 and works as Senior Project Coordinator of the AGROMIX project, as well as overseeing the implementation of the organisation's project portfolio.
Her hobbies include skiing, swimming, and hiking — and, all in all, everything outdoors — and is passionate about gardens and her family.
