Viktória Selmeczy
Viki began her career in the private sector, working for 10 years in IT and communications firms in tasks ranging from daily office operations management to employee support. Throughout those years, she became experienced in time and project management, financial assistance, human resources, and event organisation. She spent one year in China studying Mandarin. During her career, she has developed strong skills in communications, organisation, and assistance, as well as established herself as a natural problem solver.
Viki holds an MSc in Human Resources (University of Pécs, Hungary) and speaks Hungarian, English, and Mandarin.
She joined CEEweb for Biodiversity in 2018 as an Office Manager and Financial Assistant but has since then grown to become the Project Coordinator for SaveGREEN and Member Liaison for the CEEweb Member Network.
During her free time, Viki is managing her own organic garden, collecting herbs, seeds, mushrooms, and edible wild plants. Moreover, she loves reading and walking in nature alongside her furry friend, Mr Morzsa. She passionately aims forward to have a self-sufficient, countryside life, learning about herbs and folk remedies, and further natural practices. She is also devoted to environmental and nature protection education and awareness-raising through her social media project Színezd Zöldre ('Colour it Green').
