Emese Seress Rabné
Emese has over 15 years of work experience in several professional areas, as well as more than 7 years leading and coordinating role experiences from different international institutions. Part of her professional background includes having worked for 8 years in the United Kingdom, where she experienced the practical side of environmentalism, organic life style and sustainability in an organic educational institution.
She is pursuing an MSc Regional and Environmental Economist degree ( Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Budapest) and is qualified Environmental Engineer (Óbuda University, Hungary) and Special Needs Teacher and Therapist (ELTE, Hungary). She speaks English and Hungarian.
She first joined CEEweb for Biodiversity in 2019 as Office Manager, Project and Financial Assistant, Internship Coordinator and Project Coordinator. After spending 2 years at the United Nations she returned with a wealth of knowledge to fulfil her goals in environmental protection.
Emese is passionate about soil protection, awareness raising and education of youth. Also, she believes in the power of effective policy-making and campaigns. She was invited to an international symposium with her thesis about the importance of soil protection in education and was an editor to a CEEweb e-learning material and booklet about soil protection and regenerative agriculture. She is practising regenerative agriculture techniques at her own garden and continuously searching for possibilities for sustainable, environmental and biodiversity friendly gardening solutions. Her motto is to be kind to all living creatures and learn from the best, practice and enjoy the sound of music.
