Agroecology for future – Shaping EU food policies for a global food transition

Agroecological agriculture is our vision for a sustainable agricultural and food transition. We need socially and environmentally responsible agriculture and food production in which farmers, artisanal processors and consumers are at the center of decision-making and the environment is protected. To achieve this, the right course must be set at a political level. Based on our studies on agroecology, we have therefore worked with author Mireille Remesch to develop demands for policy-makers at EU level so that this course can be set in the next period of office. Our demands are summarised in the position paper, available in German and English. Numerous human rights and environmental organisations have already signed the policy paper.
