Deep Adaptation in Central and Eastern Europe

The aim of this study is twofold. First, it aims to unpack the concept of Deep Adaptation, track its evolution and contextualise it in the wider environmental movement. Second, it analyses how the Deep Adaptation Framework can help inform adaptation efforts in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). The paper concludes with a set of recommendations drawn from the framework that should inform the way we approach climate change risks in the future.
