EXTERNAL EXPERT

within the framework of the project

GREEN AND MYSTICAL DANUBE STORYTELLING ROUTE – Transnational valorisation of natural and intangible cultural heritage for socio-economic development of rural areas in the Danube region

The OBJECTIVE of the assignment is to provide external expert services for the outcomes of the project.

PROJECT LANGUAGE: English and Hungarian

TERRITORIAL SCOPE: Ipoly valley and Börzsöny Hills region, Hungary

THE EXPERT SERVICES INCLUDE:

Development of Action Plan for Ipoly valley and Börzsöny Hills region, Hungary.The Aim of the Action Plan is to create and finally to provide a new community-based touristic service and product(s) derived from the natural area and intangible heritage – finally to create social inclusion and employment opportunities. Target audience: local and regional public authority, sectoral agencies, interest groups including NGOs, SMEs, education/training centres and schools, and local community, with special emphasis on vulnerable groups (youth, minorities, elderly, women, and people with disabilities).

The Action Plan (AP) should be based on previous project findings.

The plan will define in the Pilot sites' natural richness and community tourism services and products based on intangible cultural heritage associated with that natural sites. Local knowledge, stories, myths and legends will be collected and redefined to fit new community tourism services and products. The APs' info will be implemented and used for the development of the new route and employment possibilities for the local community.

EXPECTED RESULT: Action Plan

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: The applicant should be a registered entrepreneur, NGO, or a private company in a European country with the ability to issue an invoice
