Bethany Thomas
Communications Intern
Bethany is passionate about sustainability and biodiversity conservation, particularly how the flow of information between researchers, the public, and policymakers can shape these efforts.
She holds an MBiol in Biology from the University of Oxford. Her Master’s project focused on biodiversity responses to hydropower dam construction in Thailand. She speaks English.
At CEEweb, she works as an Environmental Communications Intern, mainly working on the Rebooting the Food System project.
By raising awareness of the need for more sustainable food systems, particularly among young people, she hopes to inspire EU citizens to take action and advocate for a fairer food system.
