Agroforestry, chestnut plantation, alluvial orchardAbout the course:
The first policy workshop of the CEE region of the Agromix project was hosted by CEEweb in Zebegény, on the 28th of April. With the aim of introducing the Agromix project and its results, CEEweb followed a multi-stakeholder approach and invited farmers, practitioners, decision-makers and researchers. The event proved to be helpful in enhancing discussions between stakeholders and gaining insights into participants’ perceptions of agroforestry practices from the perspectives of climate mitigation and adaptation, forest gardening and orchard management. Over the afternoon a field trip was organised to Nagymaros giving insights into the history and present practices of local sweet chestnut and alluvial fruit orchards.
The film was produced with the financial support of the European Union. Its contents are the sole responsibility of CEEweb for Biodiversity and do not necessarily reflect the views of the European Union.
