This report was made within the Michael Otto Foundation for Environmental Protection project "Building BlueGreen infrastructure in Central and Eastern Europe: from pilot projects to regional action." The publication investigates 16 wetland restoration projects across Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and makes a survey of ecosystem services and other socio-economic benefits which improved in their course. The document includes policy recommendations on how to scale up local restoration efforts to the national and EU levels in view of the EU restoration objectives.
