Green Roofs

Did you know that green roofs provide shelter and nutrition for pollinators, urban gardening creates stronger communities, or spending time in nature reduces stress levels? We know and we organized a photo contest showcasing their beauty and emphasizing the benefits of green infrastructure to our everyday lives. Now, we have selected 12 photos from the authors and organisations that participated in the contest and have created a beautiful green calendar for 2017. Even more, we sent it to over a thousand national and EU decision-makers, asking them to advocate for a bigger part of the EU budget for green infrastructure and, by doing that, to provide EU citizens with a timely response to tackle all environmental challenges they are facing today.
