Sub-National and Local Policy approaches for Biodiversity Conservation and Climate Action in Central and Eastern Europe

Central and Eastern Europe is a region where best practices towards the pursuit of sustainable livelihoods can be found through and through. Whether they are practices related to natural water-retention measures (NWRMs), local efforts for achieving biodiversity conservation, or local Initiatives and multi-level/sub-national policy approaches for biodiversity conservation and climate action, CEEweb has aimed to gather in this handbook cases not only worthy of recognition but exemplary initiatives that could (and should) be replicated in the CEE region and beyond.
