This guidebook aims to share the experience and knowledge gained within the VIMOMA project and its workshops regarding visitor monitoring. Covering visitor surveys, methodologies for visitor monitoring, heritage interpretation and experience design, communications tools and approaches, and monitoring of visitors' impacts, this guidebook is based on the outputs of the five international workshops organised by the VIMOMA project in Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, and Serbia, during which representatives of 18 protected areas were trained.
