CEEweb members from Serbia, Slovakia and Hungary met in Belgrade to discuss the Game On! legacy and potential synergies towards working collaboratively with the youth
Warmly welcomed by the Young Researchers of Serbia (YRS), a committee of CEEweb members from Serbia, Slovakia and Hungary gathered in Belgrade on 10 October to discuss their current work with the youth, gamification and awareness raising, as well as potential synergies to move forward within the network. Besides the hosts, representatives from Slovak organisation Machaon International, Hungarian partner Imro, and Serbian organisation Eco Centre, as well as from the CEEweb Office, in an extended exchange of their innovations through projects implementation to work on the topic of climate change.
At the core of the exchange were the results of Game On!, the 4-year-long project led by the CEEweb Office and which, among its 10-partner consortium, counted with a total of seven CEEweb Members developing gamified products and activities to raise awareness among the European youth with a focus in Latvia, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Germany, Bulgaria, Hungary, Slovakia and Romania.
Thus, CEEweb Members’ representatives were introduced to the attained know-how regarding gamification and work with the youth, including activities such as wilderness camps, the development of a board game, educational materials and an e-learning platform, or greening festivals, among others.
Moreover, it was also an opportunity for the other organisation to also share their own initiatives, as well as to participate to the Carpathian Convention, held on 10-12 October 2023.
