Organisation: Združenie Slatinka Website: Added: September 20, 2022
Project start date: June 01, 2018
Project end date: May 31, 2023

Narrative

The main objective of the project is to achieve a 15% increase in the carbon reduction rate compared to the plans that each of the project partners has committed to achieve by 2022, by significantly involving stakeholders in the whole process. The sub-objectives that will contribute to the achievement of the project's main objective are: 1. the creation of an active stakeholder grouping (one per partner) in the period up to 2022 and the implementation of 16 stakeholder activities (two per partner) that will reduce carbon emissions, 2. a 25% increase in the level of collaboration between stakeholders using multiple platforms, 3. a 10% increase in investment in low carbon economy projects compared to the last 3 years by engaging the private sector and different communities, 4. stimulating behavioural change through at least 5 new energy stakeholder partnerships, 5. supporting local stakeholders by sharing knowledge and experience, creating mechanisms that are based on interaction, co-creation, delivery of joint outputs. Sub-objectives 1, 2 and 3 are linked to the implementation of Regional Action Plans (RAPs), in the improvement of which the stakeholder groups established under the INTENSIFY project will actively participate. Sub-objectives 4 and 5 are more specific and linked directly to specific projects of the partners in the respective carbon reduction areas.
