The BIODIVERSITY AND INFRASTRUCTURE SYNERGIES AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR EUROPEAN TRANSPORT NETWORKS (BISON) project aims to improve the integration of biodiversity considerations into infrastructure planning, construction, operation, and decommissioning for European transport networks. It addresses the needs of both Western and Eastern Europe in terms of infrastructure development and its impact on biodiversity. The project engages stakeholders to mainstream biodiversity into infrastructure planning and development, while identifying sustainable methods and materials to mitigate impacts on biodiversity.
